Mass Vaccine Clinics Closing June 4
The County of San Luis Obispo plans to demobilize three mass vaccination clinics in Arroyo Grande, Paso Robles, and San Luis Obispo on June 4, 2021. The community clinics have administered over 151,687 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine since December 2020.
Health care providers and pharmacies across SLO County and smaller Public Health clinics will continue to offer the vaccine. Visit MyTurn.ca.gov to make an appointment or read our recent news release.

SLO County organizations including neighborhood groups, faith-based organizations, businesses, and/or housing sites can now host their own mobile vaccine clinics. Hosts are required to schedule participants, provide a space for the vaccinations to take place and chairs for the15-minute observation period after getting the vaccine. Read our recent news release.

How far in advance should I book an appointment if I want to be fully vaccinated before Summer travel?
Fully vaccinated travelers are less likely to get and spread COVID-19, which which is why we recommend getting fully vaccinated before traveling. You should allow yourself at least 2-6 weeks to before your travels to become fully vaccinated.
In general, people are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose Pfizer or Moderna series, or 2 weeks after a single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
