DESCRIPTION:This month the Cal Poly CIE SBDC will be joined by the winners of AngelCon 2022 to talk about their journey after winning a total of $205K in equity investment.\n\n\n\nAcre Cloud - Winner ($135\,000) \n\nAcreCloud's farm-management platform offers growers and contractors customized control over their operations\, extensive auditing capabilities\, and access to new products\, such as AcrePay and AcreAnalytics. It is the rare marriage of fintech and agtech.\n\n\n\nNovocuff - Runner-Up ($70\,000)\n\nAccording to the World Health Organization (WHO)\, preterm birth complications were responsible for approximately 1 million deaths in 2015. Novocuff is designing a minimally invasive\, non-surgical device that will help prevent preterm birth.\n\n\n\nAngelCon is an annual event in which six startups compete for $100\,000+ in investment funding to help grow their business\, as a result of the dedicated team of investors behind the live event. Our program teaches how to spot groundbreaking new business ventures and innovative technology\, how to work through the investor due diligence process\, and how to select the top six startups for AngelCon.
