DESCRIPTION:It's Free Family Day the day of the month when admission to the garden is waived all day for all guests! Bring the whole family to peruse the beautiful plant collection\, talk to experts\, and participate in fun activities! Come early to go on our Acorn Adventures hike a guided\, family-friendly hike to some of our favorite spots at the SLOBG. This month\, join Dr. Emily Taylor from Cal Poly with some sensational serpents! At this family-friendly event\, Dr. Taylor and her Cal Poly students will give a presentation about snakes\, including myth-busting some tall tales about rattlesnakes. She will also introduce visiting families to live local harmless snakes as well as venomous rattlesnakes in a safe and fun environment. Join us from 1   2 PM!
