DESCRIPTION:In partnership with SLO County Family-Friendly Workplaces\, the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce is hosting a special event aimed at helping businesses... -Increase Employee Recruitment -Retention -Overall Productivity -Improve Workplace Culture Through the implementation of family-friendly workplace practices. This workshop will allow attendees to be face-to-face with experts who are successfully implementing family-friendly practices including flexible and predictable scheduling\, sponsored childcare\, parental leave\, infants at work\, and lactation support. Participants will leave the event with new ideas\, resources\, and processes to best assess and act upon their employees' needs and interests\, increase their bottom line\, and enhance their reputation as a family-friendly workplace\, which can be an asset in recruitment efforts during the current labor shortage. The workshop will be held on Tuesday\, November 15 from 3:30 P.M.   5:30 P.M. at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Atascadero. An optional networking happy hour will follow until 6:00 P.M.
