Festival Mozaic ORCHESTRA: Mahler in Perspective

At the turn of the 20th century, Gustav Mahler transformed a song "The Heavenly Life" into his fourth symphony. This tender work culminates in a fourth movement featuring a heavenly voice - that of boy soprano, Bobby Hill, who captured the world?s ears and hearts when he sang a capella for the Pope during his 2015 visit to the US. Conductor Scott Yoo will take the audience on a journey behind the scenes of Mahler's Symphony No. 4 in a Notable Encounter and then the work will performed in full.
