Position Overview
The Lead Technician will work closely with management and other leads techs in overseeing the crew, daily internal processes, jobsite quality control, workflow, and training programs.

- Assists general manager as an external representative of the company
- Formulates lead generation strategies and tactics for sales

Operations
- Manage a consistent service experience across the team
- Ensure that the team has the necessary resources to meet business objectives
- Drive profitable growth (through customer retention strategies, reduction of operating costs, etc.)
- Assist in team knowledge meetings
- Oversee changes to installation schedules, calculating changes based on staff ability
- Responsible for jobsite quality control, communication with homeowners and contractors as to changes while onsite
- Provide insight for improving installation process
- Training of new technicians
- Direct communication/feedback to GM regarding staff knowledge/progress
- Lead team during large project installations. Delegate roles to each technician
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade
- Experience as a Lead Technician installing frameless shower doors/units, retrofit windows, patio doors, mirrors and dual pane glass replacement
- Ability to lead a team effectively and communicate clearly
